the most beautiful oak art deco sideboard, circa 1940’s England, made by Validity Furniture London.
with a curved design in beautiful warm timber and the most stunning carved details. the shell feet, the scalloped bottom edge, the carved details and the rose drawer pulls and fan handles are almost too good!
this piece features great storage, internal shelving behind doors to either side, with 5 large central drawers. The incredible carved and curbed top drawer has a three-way divider to keep things nice and organised.
dimensions ~ 1360mmL x 460mmD x 920mmH top
the beautiful carved front details approx. 500mmD, overall height with back lip @ 1,000mmH
this piece is in good vintage condition and is structurally solid and sound. the top and front present beautifully, with only a few general marks consistent with age. Please note, there are some repaired chips along the back edges of the sides, predominantly on the left side. these have been stained to blend with the timber and are shown in the photographs, with this wear reflected in the pricing. the repairs do not affect the structural integrity or appearance of the piece, which presents beautifully overall.
