1970's solid timber sideboard
absolutely stunning 1970's solid timber sideboard with the most beautiful details. slatted cabinetry, solid timber pulls on drawers and cupboards, curved profile and brass detailing. they don’t make them like this anymore!
dimensions ~ 1640mmL x 560mmD x 700mmH
crafted from beautiful honey toned timber, all very solid and structurally sound, this piece will last a lifetime. there is a beautiful patina to the timber from wear and use consistent with age along with some specific spots of wear and tear on the legs and other areas of the piece as photographed. this has been reflected in the pricing of this spectacular piece, however does not at all affect it’s beauty.
over the years someone has added a small hole to the back for cables to be fed through neatly so this could be used as tv or record storage also which would be beautiful. both drawers run perfectly as does the right hand side cupboard door sliding. the left hand side door is slightly sticky when opening but doesn’t affect use.
